where are you and what you can do here?
Apartments Koločep are situated on the island Kolocep, first island in the group of Elaphite islands, just 7 km far from Dubrovnik. It takes about 20 minutes to get Dubrovnik. Our apartments are situated about 800 meters far from ferry stops. During the summer the frequency of ferry sailings is increased and fast hydrofoil services are added, so every day you have about 10-15 lines to Dubrovnik. An average price is about four euro. Situated in a peaceful area and surrounded with Mediterranean vegetation, you will find the perfect place to spend an unforgettable vacation.  Our apartments are situated about 800 meters far from first settlement Gornje Čelo. So, next to us there are no houses, beach is just for you, see is crystal clear and the small fisherman settlement is just 5 minutes walking (with restaurants with traditional Mediterranean food (as well as other food-meat and vegatables for those who does not like fish, more untouched nature, more sandy beaches...). There you can also catch ferry to Dubrovnik and enjoy its incredible beauty. Enjoy our warm hospitality, take pleasant walks to island Koločep or explore other areas of this magnificent island.
Kolocep is a small island without rode for cars just for walking. However if you are coming by car you can leave your car on 24 safe parking in port in Dubrovnik. This way you can use your car for traveling to Dubrovnik and nearby places and enjoy walking at the island without cars. Price for parking is about 5 euro per day.

We offer our dear guests 4 apartment (45 sq. Met. each) for rent. All apartments are new, modern and sunny, surrounded by see and forest. OUR APARTMENTS ARE JUST 20 M FROM SEA AND BEACH. Each apartment has private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and terrace with sunshade, table and chairs according to the number of persons. Each apartment consists of:
2 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with lounge and terrace. Each apartment has TV SAT, coffee machine, refrigerator, deep freezer, kitchen range and sink in each kitchen, lounge with couch which can be used as extra bed if necessary. Each apartment is suitable up to 5 persons.
In front of the house just 20 metres there is beach with small peblle suitable for childreen. Beach is just half of minute walking from home and whole house is turned to the sea, so you can enjoy sea and beach view from your terrace...

Simple, just send us e-mail at apartmanikolocep@yahoo.com or just call +385 91 5311614 or +385 20 331-088 after 17 o'clock and book your apartment on time.

Reservation will be confirmed only after 30% of the total amount is paid on our account. The rest is to pay to the owner on arrival date. Price includes water, electricity, bedding, blankets, towels, pillows and dish-towels, weekly change of bed linen and cleaning of apartment on departure day. Smoking is allowed in apartment, pets are allowed on request. We offer our quests transport from Dubrovnik to apartment and backwards with private boat. You will be informed about transportation price by e-mail (depending of the number of persons).

LITTLE MORE ABOUT KOLOČEP
The picturesque Adriatic island, close at hand to Dubrovnik, occupies an area of 2.35 square kilometres. There are two settlements, in the two largest coves of the island: Gornje Čelo and Donje Čelo. From the east and west it is overgrown with thick pine forests that drop right down to the edge of the sea. The clear blue sea abounds in fish and shellfish. Until a few centuries ago, the inhabitants of Koločep were the most renowned coral divers of the Mediterranean, though today only a few go down for the coral, out of pure love. A sign of the antiquity of habitation here, going back to ancient times, can be found in the many monuments, among which a special place is taken by the remains of sarcophagi, stone sculptures, chapels and churches.

The 15th century is considered to be the golden age of the island of Koločep, a time when the greatest number of summer palaces was built by the Dubrovnik aristocracy. Many renaissance masterpieces, myths, stories and countless legends were born within the shade of the scented plants and trees found in these rural settings.
Already the first encounter with the island of Koločep cannot leave you unmoved. You will be intoxicated with the still calm, the scent of the Mediterranean plants and the intensity of the colours of the Adriatic. When you have been here once, you will always want to come back again.
